The Kangaroo Math contest for the year 2010 is scheduled to be held on March 18, 2010 at 10:30 AM all over the country.

What is the closing dates of registration for Math Kangaroo contest 2010?
The registration for this year Math Kangaroo contest is open from December 15th, 2010. The schools and colleges can complete their registration process by the January 30th, 2010.

Can our school/college get registered to the Math Kangaroo contest after January 30th, 2010?
No! The deadline for registration to the contest is January 30th, 2010, thereafter no registration will be accepted.

What happens if my institute sends registration application before the application deadline but it is recieved late to the commission due to postal delays?
Please make sure that your application must reach the commission well in time since applications recieved late will not be entertained by the commission.

Can we send the registration fee in cash ?
NOT AT ALL!
The registration fees can only be sent to the commission in the form of Pay order (from Lahore institutions) or in the form of Demand Draft (other than Lahore institutions) by the institutions.

Can we send the registration fee through cross cheque/Money order/Postal order etc?
NOT AT ALL!
The registration fee cannot be accepted in any form other than Pay order from Lahore institutions and the Demand Draft from other institutions.

Where we can get prepared the Pay order /bank draft?
It can be prepared from any scheduled bank of Pakistan.

What should be the title of the pay order/Bank draft OR to whom it is payable?
Please get prepared your pay order /Bank draft in favour of "PAKISTAN KANGAROO COMMISSION - LAHORE"

What is the responsibility of the hosting institutions?
To devote about 2-3 hours on the Kangaroo Day (March 18th, 2010) during the working hours in your institution to conduct a written test, to inform students about the registration, to receive the competition material for each registered student (we send the material in advance by courier), to make sure the students work independently in the designated time, to mail the answer forms back to the Kangaroo Center in Lahore after test, to receive and distribute Medals, diplomas, prizes, etc.

Our school is not interested in hosting Math Kangaroo. Can we still participate in the competition?
It is not possible for the students of your school to participate in the contest if school is not interested in hosting of math Kangaroo.

What is the cost of participation in Math Kangaroo in Pakistan?
The participation fee for Math Kangaroo 2010 is Rs.500 for a student. Parents pay the fee, sometimes schools, or any other local sponsors.
